Renovation of students dormitories
The Estonian demo site consists of the renovation of the student accommodation at the Tallin University of Technology and of family residences, using a new prefabricated green wall, BIPV facade panel, and other technical systems. These innovations will transform the student accommodation and family residences into positive energy buildings, including residents of the apartment association of Akadeemia tee 22 (representing different residential groups – families with children, elderly and others). The energy surplus will be shared with the neighbouring block and users are directly engaged in energy management practices.
